General Manager/Site Manager

Key internal and external relationships:

Internal relationships – Production, Operations, Quality, Sales and Technical. External interactions across supply partners, and Government departments.

The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Sales Executive to join our Commercial team at our Head Office Nursery near Oldtown, North Co. Dublin.

Responsibilities:

Major responsibilities include, but are not limited to and the Ideal candidates with have:

  • Assist site Management and provide cover in their absence.
  • Assign work schedules and duties to nursery staff and supervise their work.
  • Monitor production productivity, dispatch, and delivery to site, inspect crops, and evaluate plant and soil conditions.
  • Monitor glasshouse facilities and operational systems.
  • Determine plant growing conditions, such as greenhouse temperatures. irrigation, and set planting and care schedules.
  • Conduct employee training and drive continuous improvements.
  • Ensure full adherence to Health & Safety policy.
  • Accurate record keeping to various audit format and standards.
  • Proactive crop & people management across the site
Required word schedule
  • This position requires a 45‐hour minimum work week
  • Willingness to work weekends on a rota basis.
